The Practically Creative Quarter is my creativity zine, dedicated to exploring creative process, increasing creative productivity and enjoying the creative life.
It debuted in April 2005 as The Practically Creative Quarterly, published online four times a year. In May 2007, I completely revamped it (with the slightly new name) as a WordPress blog in order to make all articles more easily accessible. It has been inactive for many years now, but I keep it running because I still love it. In addition to all my articles, essays and commentaries, there are dozens of artists, photographers, collectors, bloggers, and writers who also contributed to The PCQ. It is a treasure trove. Check it out!
Here’s the article that sums up the ideas that sparked this labour of love: Being Practically Creative.
